Maude was the real start of having a "show" dog. I did all my training and learning on and with her.

Maude was named after the "Golden Girls" TV program. Bea Arthur played "Maude". Her nickname was " Maudie Potts"

Maude was a survivor of Parvo, back in the days when multiple, live vaccines were given starting at 6 weeks of age!

She was a great Mom to both puppies and human children.

She found obedience training boring but loved to go to see her best friends, Lottie, a harl Dane and Erik, a Golden Retriever. She got one leg on her CD and then would look at me like, " Been there. Done that. Not gonna repeat it again." End of obedience career!

Maude lived to be a few months shy of 11.
